Learning By Design:MA is honored to be the beneficiary of ‘What the Sketch?’ an evening presented by the Boston Society of Architects. This event will allow LBD:MA to continue to bring creative, hands-on architecture and design programs to Boston’s  children and families.

Please see below for details and we look forward to seeing you at this fun evening! [Age 21 and up]

wts-logo-webHead back to the drawing board at this fast-paced sketching game! Four of Boston’s leading architects will draw buildings, while teams compete to guess which ones. And all proceeds benefit the work of Learning By Design in Massachusetts (LBD:MA). What the Sketch? It’s a great idea!

On June 13, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at BSA Space, architects Peter Kuttner FAIAChris Grimley, Maryann Thompson FAIA, and Elizabeth Whittaker will sketch famous buildings at this Pictionary-style event led by Master of Ceremony Jim Stanislaski AIA. Then, teams go head-to-head against colleagues, peers, and aficionados to be the first to correctly identify each sketch. Get in the game by forming a team, or just sign up to enjoy libations and hors d’oeuvres while watching the show.

LBD:MA is a nonprofit organization that brings design activities focusing on people, places, and spaces into the heart of K–12 learning. LBD:MA builds a strong community dedicated to K–12 architecture and design education.
