Great news! The Massachusetts Cultural Council, has joined the Boston Scientific Foundation, the Boston Society of Architects and the National Endowment for the Arts to provide critical funding for our exciting Architecture: Learning By Design project. Soon, we’ll need volunteer architects and designers to work with us on projects in Boston, Holyoke and New Bedford. Architecture: Learning By Design is a comprehensive two-year immersion into Art and STEM (Science, Technology/Engineering and Mathematics). This program is principally funded by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts with additional funding from Boston Scientific and the BSA. Three Massachusetts schools will participate in the program, which uses the power of local architecture as a catalyst for learning in critical academic subject areas. Click HERE for a program summary.
